Maria Laura Vergara graduated cum laude from the University of Palermo with a degree in Law in 2014 with a dissertation on constitutional law concerning ‘La costituzione materiale’.
In 2013 she took part in the university training and education Erasmus Programme at the Law University of Sevilla, passed the Derecho Privado de los transportes (Transports Private Law) and Organizaciones Internacionales y derechos humanos (International Organisation and Human Rights Law).
In November 2014 she started the research activity for the law PhD in constitutional law (‘Pluralismi giuridici. Prospettive antiche e attuali (internazionale), with a research project dedicated to “Infomal constitutional changes’ in collaboration with the Panthéon-Assas, Paris II.
In march 2019, she has gained the title of Dottore di Ricerca, PhD, issued by the University of Palermo (Diritto pubblico interno e sovranazionale), and of Docteur en Droit, PhD, issued by the University of Paris II – Panthéon Assas (specialité Droit public).
She collaborates with Comandè Di Nola Restuccia Avvocati since its foundation in February 2016 working in the fields of energy, public tenders, construction and contracts.
She has gained the professional qualification in 2017.
She speaks Italian, English, Spanish and French.
