Massimiliano Vatiero is Assistant Professor (senior) of Law and Economics and “Brenno Galli” Senior Fellow of Economic Analysis of Law at USI in Lugano since 2010. He graduated with a degree in Political Economics and has received the PhD degree in Law and Economics from the University of Siena, where he worked as Post-Doc. He was Visiting Scholar at Chicago Kent College of Law, Visiting Assistant Professor at Law and Economics Institute in Hamburg, Visiting Researcher at Harvard Law School.
Currently he teaches Economic Analysis of Law at University C. Cattaneo LIUC in Castellanza.
He has published various articles in international scientific magazines such as: Journal of Economic Surveys, European Journal of Law and Economics, Journal of Institutional Economics, and Journal of Economic Issues; and in some outstanding law and economics Italian magazines such as Economia e Politica Industriale, Rivista Critica di Diritto Privato and Mercato Concorrenza e Regole.
His branches of research include Economic Analysis of Law, Regulation and Market Competition, Corporate Governance and Institutional Economics. He is also consultant in the field of market regulation and Corporate Governance.
