Gloria Ciaccio graduated in Law cum laude in 2017 from the University of Palermo, discussing a thesis in Criminal Law (“La nuova causa di non punibilità per particolare tenuità del fatto, di cui all’articolo 131 bis c.p.”) with Professor Giovanni Fiandaca, as supervisor.
In A.Y. 2013/2014 she took part in the “Erasmus Project” and attended the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid for nine months with a scholarship.
After graduating, she carried out the legal practice at the District Attorney of the State Office (Avvocatura Distrettuale dello Stato), based in Palermo, where she worked on civil law, tax law, labour law and administrative law, particularly in the fields of public procurement, environment, energy, construction, town planning and anti-mafia interdictions.
She attended an in-depth Course on civil, criminal and administrative law, held by State Attorneys Pintus, Santini and Pignatone; an Advanced Training Course for DPOs at the University of Palermo and a Specialisation Course on the European Convention on Human Rights, held by the Unione Forense per la Tutela dei Diritti Umani (UFTDU). She obtained a Diploma in International Politics from the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI).
In 2019, she qualified as a lawyer.
She joined Comandè Di Nola Restuccia Avvocati in January 2021 and she deals in particular with energy, environment, construction, urban planning and procurement.
She speaks Italian, English and Spanish.
